Background
Hi, I'm Alex, a Computer Science student at UCN in Aalborg, Denmark.
I build backend systems, primarily with C# and .NET. My work focuses on the parts most users never see but depend on: database schemas, API endpoints, system architecture. I recently built TaskFlow, a real-time project management platform where I got to work through interesting problems like handling concurrent updates via SignalR and designing a flexible database structure.
I'm the kind of developer who reads documentation for fun and genuinely enjoys refactoring messy code into something clean and maintainable. I believe the best software comes from teams that communicate well and write code for humans, not just compilers.
I'm a big adapter, I love to learn new things and I'm not afraid to step outside my comfort zone. I also sincerely enjoy seeing things from a different perspective and really like to think outside the box. I can be a very social person and I enjoy working in teams and collaborating with others.
Right now I'm deepening my understanding of the C# language and .NET ecosystem. I also spend time experimenting with AI tools, I have a big interest in open source projects, and staying updated with tech news.
When I'm not at my computer, I'm usually reading (tech blogs, news, politics or finance), building or upgrading PCs, or having discussions about system design over coffee.
I'm looking for a 5th-term programming internship starting summer 2026 where I can contribute to real projects and learn from experienced developers.
